- This paper introduces a formally verified model for a social network. Registered users can post content and establish intra-node and inter-node friendships, used to regulate access control over posts. The model is verified using Isabelle/HOL. This paper is significant because its model provides information flow security guarantees in a distributed system. Scala code is automatically generated from the model. Following this paper, a deployment has been instantiated in a prototype social network for charities, as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership with an industrial counterpart through project KTP010041.
