- This is a substantial volume of poetry (200 pages). It includes an unusual and complex series of 70 poems on the theme of aging. Written between 2016 and 2018, the ‘Cyrraedd’ series is a reflective, confessional piece as the poet meditates on his entire life’s journey towards his seventieth birthday. This award-winning book is the poet’s third collection of poems, with the confessional verse supported by a more socially-involved poet, responding to the needs of his community whilst also considering ‘Cyflwr y Byd’ [‘the state of the world’], in response to terrorist attacks in Manchester and Paris.
