- Double-weighted statement
- This volume provides the first comprehensive annotated edition with introduction of the extant poetry of Waldo Williams. It represents a striking expansion of the official canon of this major poet who published only one single authored collection during his lifetime. The compilation of the corpus called for detailed and imaginative archival research and the exercise of critical judgement in the case of poems published anonymously and under a nom-de-plume. The thorough annotation (228 pages in a volume of 679) is based on the established expertise of both editors, but is augmented by a significant element of new research.
