- As physics coordinator for the MINOS experiment, Blake oversaw the preparation of these physics results and co-authored the paper. He also led a number of key technical efforts that were critical to the results: the pattern recognition algorithm used to reconstruct particle tracks and hadronic showers; and the quality assurance software that was used to process the data and calculate the exposure of the two multi-kiloton MINOS detectors.
