- The novel method was developed that allows production of adsorbent materials with a targeted size to suit the specifications of water treatment pilot plant columns using the minimum amount of solvents using a combination of granulation extrusion and chemical activation . This new method used in the follow-on project with an industrial partner to improve the performance of powdery metal organic framework products by transforming them into shaped products (extrudates) with better strength and packing properties. The success of the first follow-on project lead to a KTP which is aimed to extending the companies shaped MOF products portfolio.
