- Being investigated as part of an EPSRC-funded £4.6M program grant in Ultra-parallel visible light communications, the timing synchronization method presented in this paper was investigated for the first time for optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) LiFi systems with low complexity to combat the inter-symbol and inter-frame interference. The technology developed in this paper was used to evaluate the performance of practical OFDM LiFi systems in collaboration with PureLiFi Ltd.
