- Double-weighted statement
- This book is based on research carried out from 2008 to 2015 and required collection and analysis of very extensive primary sources and secondary sources collected from libraries and archives in 6 countries. Its 391 pp. exc. bibliography and indices fill a gap in the field of representations of Italy: a comparative analysis of images of Italy in Nordic literature encompassing sources in 10 languages. It identifies for the first time the importance of three specific patterns that cast new light on the relevance of genre theory applied to literary representations of Italy within the Nordic context and beyond.
