- My monograph, Against the New Constitutionalism, is the culmination of ten years of research in constitutional theory and comparative constitutional law and demonstrates sustained research effort during that period. The monograph is based on the analysis of a large body of material from a wide range of disciplines. It combines the insights of doctrinal legal analysis, empirical political science, comparative constitutional scholarship, political philosophy and conceptual legal theory. The book investigates the justification of constitutional review in great depth and from different theoretical/disciplinary perspectives and offers an original argument about the proper role of courts.
