- This internationally authored paper was published in the top journal in the discipline as a first inter-laboratory collaboration following the completion of the EPSRC Light Controlled Factory Project EP/K018124/1 which developed a world leading large volume metrology system based on low-cost camera technology. The paper provided a means of improving the accuracy of 3D analysis of remote imagery by utilising the frequently rectilinear nature of human-engineered features within urban and industrial environments.
