- This study demonstrates for the first time solar H2 production using a solar telescope to concentrate the stream of photons, demonstrating the potential for solar water reduction for H2 production from a sustainable source. It stems from a collaboration with St. Andrews University and CalTech funded by joint UK/US EPSRC/NSF International Collaboration in Chemistry Programme (EP/H004130/1). The output paved the way for an InnovateUK award for a KTP project (10149) with NRC Environmental Services Inc. (Richard Walker, Richard.walker@nrcc.com). The novel photoreactor developed was presented at a Semiconductor Photochemistry conference (Prague, Czech Republic).
