- This paper is significant because it introduces the first effective tool to statically detect safety and liveness bugs in Go programs. Our modular tool-chain improves performance by an order of magnitude compared to previous work, demonstrated by evaluation on established benchmarks and production Go programs. The algorithm detects a class of buggy concurrent programs, which were previously out of reach.
