- The book explores the long-term consequences of conflict-related sexual violence, as a way of identifying some of the major gaps within transitional justice efforts in Bosnia-Herzegovina and beyond. This is a major piece of work that demonstrates sustained research effort. The book is based on extensive and challenging empirical research, including over a year of fieldwork with victims-survivors of conflict-related sexual violence in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Interviews were conducted with victims-survivors from all ethnic groups, and with both women and men. Consequently, the research presents unique insights drawn from comprehensive investigation of different perspectives.
