- This paper was published on the Environmental Modelling and Software Journal. The significance of this work is the development of a multi-criteria decision support algorithm based on ELECTRE-II that evaluates different alternatives by combining criteria that can be measured numerically with criteria that are measured by semantic values. The case study described in this paper was a result of an international multidisciplinary collaboration between the Universitat Rovira I Virgili in Spain and Oxford Brookes University. This research forms the basis of a ranking method called SentiRank that integrates Sentiment Analysis and Multi-criteria decision support.
