- The 'vortex-sheet' concept in this paper played a key part in three subsequent PhD projects (one DTP; two supported by the Cambridge Trusts) and led to three invited presentations at the AIAA SciTech Forum (2018, 2019, 2020). This analysis approach has been adopted by members of NATO Science and Technology working group AVT-282 (Unsteady Aerodynamic Response of Rigid Wings in Gust Encounters).
