The paper also contributed to the selection of Professor Knappett as the 13th Géotechnique Lecturer in 2017. Material from the paper was included within the lecture at the Institution of Civil Engineers which was also streamed to an international audience, archived with the ICE and repeated in Dundee, Sheffield and Nottingham over 2018-19.
