- This was a collaborative output though a network of Scottish Universities (Glasgow, Edinburgh and RGU) under the CombGen Consortium (http://www.combgen.gla.ac.uk/) funded by the Carnegie Trust and EPSRC (EP/K503903/1). This work led to the creation of The Farm Waste Utilisation Group comprising farms in Forfar, Inverurie, Peterhead and Dingwall, and University of Glasgow, University of the West of Scotland, Robert Gordon University and University of Strathclyde focusing on wastes for gasification (Finnian Munro / Foulis Farms Ltd, fgm_555@hotmail.com). It led to funding from Interface Food and Drink (IFD GBER Scheme No. SA.42370) and invited keynote talk at Grampian Biomass Working Group.
