- This is one of the first studies on the development of 'user-friendly' cement-free concrete with sufficient mechanical performance for structural applications without the need for heat curing. This output is significant because the findings of this research can facilitate the extensive use of cement-free concrete in construction. The efficiency of the proposed mixes has been confirmed experimentally, and part of this research underpinned a collaboration with Zicon Ltd for their patent (WO2020148519A1) of a novel type of cement-free construction block.
