- Double-weighted statement
- This book comprises eight chapters plus an introduction; it runs to xiii plus 245 pages in total. It was written over five years (2015–19 inclusive) and represents an ambitious project in terms of research endeavour, scale and complexity. Arguing for and exemplifying a novel interdisciplinary approach to philosophy of religion, it also incorporates material from anthropology and literary studies and covers multiple religious traditions, including Buddhist, Hindu and small-scale indigenous traditions. Research challenges met during investigations included a research trip to Assam to observe a Hindu festival.
