- Additional information
- The work describes a new technique to obtain seismocardiographic signals. This demonstration of fibre optic sensors that are sensitive enough to detect thoracic movements, mechanically induced by the heart led to the award of RISE project 691051 CARDIALLY (https://cardially.astonphotonics.uk) aiming to predict heart failure.
