- This book-length research monograph is based on over 100 interviews conducted in Arabic and Spanish over the course of several years in North Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean. The multisited and multilingual ethnographic fieldwork took place in complex and difficult to access sites, and the book brings together critical insights from two multi-year research projects to analyse under-researched processes and dynamics from multiple perspectives.
