- This paper presents a robust model for predicting the bond-slip between the concrete and steel reinforced bar at elevated temperatures. The proposed model can be used for 3D analysis of reinforced concrete structures in fire. The research addressed an important issue for the performance-based fire resistance design of concrete buildings. Using the initial results published here as a basis, the continuation and development of the study is providing scope for a number of journal papers, e.g. Construction & Building Materials, 128, 12-23, (2016); Fire Safety Journal 103, 19–33, (2019).
