- This study, supported by fund from EPSRC EP/K004689/1 and ‘Science and Technology Planning Project of Guangdong Province, China’ (Grant No. 2015A050502047) was the first to study using carbon coated aluminium nanoparticles added to diesel-biodiesel blends. The results formed the basis for research collaboration with Guangdong University of Technology, a new EPSRC PhD studentship and the funding of a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research for the US Coastguard.
