- Published recently by the first author at the University of Hertfordshire (UH), provides a step change to their previous work on CO2 adsorbents, co-authored by Nottingham University and supported by their EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Carbon Capture and Storage (EP/L016362/1). At UH the research is funded by the H2020 Doctoral Training Alliance 3 (DTA3)/COFUND Marie Curie Fellowship programme between the University of Hertfordshire and another 13 UK Universities. It has pioneered the application of the developed solid adsorbent in the decarbonisation of power and industrial sectors, as a promising and competitive alternative to commercialised aqueous amine-based sorbents.
