- Double-weighted statement
- This book involved the collection and analysis of a considerable body of material, being the first detailed analysis, comparison and evaluation of both the study of the legal regulation of religion and the sociological analysis of religion. The output is the result of a complex, extended and multi-layered process of investigation of primary and secondary legal materials and sociological materials. The monograph investigates the theme of the secularisation thesis in considerable depth, juxtaposing different perspectives and contexts for the first time. It has become a benchmark reference point, setting an interdisciplinary agenda for Law and Religion studies worldwide.
