- Acoustical holography is widely used to study sound radiation problems, but its application has been limited to few geometries. This paper extends the range of applications of holography by deriving an analytical solution for a wedge shape geometry building on existing theoretical results derived for the study of underwater shorelines. The new holography technique was used for developing of a hemi-cylindrical loudspeaker array (described in different papers) in the framework of the Huawei Innovation Research Partnership (HIRP). The outcome of the project was graded by Huawei as excellent (Simone.Fontana@huawei.com) and has led to a new HIRP flagship project.
