- Additional information
- The research carried out in the paper was funded by the UK Technology Strategy Board (TSB), in collaboration with industrial partners CAICE Acoustic Air Movement Ltd and AAF Ltd, specialising in commercial silencer design. The research had significant impact on the design and demonstration of original dissipative splitter silencers for the industrial partners as essential structures to reduce the noise emitted in ventilation systems, vehicles and gas turbine systems.
