- This is a scholarly edition of one of the most substantial, important and most critically discussed publications by the best-known seventeenth-century English prophet, Anna Trapnel. It is the first new edition of the complete text since it was first published in 1654. Preparation of the edition included making new transcriptions of the original prophecy; establishing editorial principles for and editing this text; comparing extant copies; and researching/writing the scholarly apparatus. The published volume is 155 pages/75,000 words; the introduction is 39 pages and the prophetic text is 96 pages, of which c.60% is edited text and c.40% footnotes.
