- The paper makes a methodological contribution with the development of an effective child-centred interactive application experience rating scale. The Five Degrees of Happiness scale has been used in evaluations at the Dallas Arboretum, NIFU (Norway) and Universities including Tubingen, Plymouth, Maryland and Eindhoven. The scale has been applied in studies including to evaluate touchless avatar based large display interfaces (10.1007/s00779-020-01451-x), with augmented reality (10.1109/ICCED46541.2019.9161094) and interactive reading (10.1007/978-3-030-53294-9_43). It has been applied in related areas such as evaluation of PE lessons in Amsterdam and reading aloud sessions in Ohio. Citations on Google Scholar: 94.
