- Double-weighted statement
- I would like my monograph 'Empress: Queen Victoria and India' to be double-weighted because it entailed the researching and analysis of a large body of material. Many of the primary sources used for this 150,000 word-long book were located in libraries and archives in India, Europe, North America as well as the UK, necessitating several lengthy research trips and prolonging the process for collecting sources. My book also covers a relatively long period of history (1830-1947), and a broad geographical area (India), which increased the time needed to research and write it.
