Giddings presented this work by invitation at the International Conference on Signal Processing & Integrated Networks 2018, India, and it contributed to capture of a) a £1.2m, 3 year, ERDF SMARTExpertise-funded DESTINI project (PI: J. Tang, Co-Is: R. Giddings, Y. Hong), and b) the ERDF-funded £6m DSP Centre (PI: J. Tang, Co-Is: R. Giddings, Y. Hong). The DSP Centre is now a) developing a £25mNational Strategy Project at the request of the Welsh Government, b) developing the business case for its £3m North Wales Growth Deal bid, c) consulatatiing with the Welsh government to fund a £9m5G rural testbed.
