- Funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the Clarendon Fund at Oxford, this monograph critically analyses the Qur’anic exegeses of four leading Muslim liberation theologians in different parts of the world, including the USA, India, and South Africa . After drawing on roughly twenty primary source texts per theologian, supplemented by in-depth interviews with each of them, the finished monograph was submitted to OUP.
