- The work proposes a paradigm for assessment and classification of serious games across all applications (health, education, marketing, etc). It is the first work to classify such games in terms of their intended benefit, and is shown to be applicable to a series of existing projects. The work has since been used as a basis for clarifying the central purpose of further projects and grants around the application of serious games.
