- As a result of this research, a collaboration between Cranfield and University of Almeria secured a scholarship for a student/staff placement at the internationally renowned Solar Facilities for the European Research Area (SFERA) centre in Spain to undertake solar photocatalysis research (https://sfera2.sollab.eu/access/access_psa.html, Contact Details: Audit_file_5830357a). The research was also important in developing a new collaboration with the technology start-up company Typhon Treatment Systems to develop UV LED systems for water treatment (Managing Director, Typhon, Contact Details: Audit_file_5830357b).
