- Gershon led the Heavy Flavour Averaging Group (HFLAV) during the period when this paper, documenting its work, was published, and was sole editor with overall responsibility for the manuscript. He thereby ensured that HFLAV’s work in determining world averages of a range of important quantities in heavy flavour physics, was properly documented for the first time. The results in the paper include many non-trivial interpretations of experimental data that is published elsewhere. Gershon carried out all interaction with the journal editors and reviewers.
