- Additional information
- This edited collection was curated by Stephanie Carter, Roz Southey and Kirsten Gibson. Carter and Gibson share a co-written chapter 'Amateur Music Making among the Mercantile Community of Newcastle upon Tyne from the 1690s to the 1750s.' The writing and research of this chapter was shared equally between Carter and Gibson. The book also contains a co-authored Introduction. This was primarily researched and written by Gibson (80%) with input from both Carter and Southey. The curatorial work (shaping the collection, editing) was equally divided between the three editors.
