- This work impacted the state of the art by presenting a solution to multi-modality image registration through introducing biomechanical modelling on tissue deformation during X-ray mammography. The proposed methods were implemented in a clinical workstation, featured on EuroNews and the Europe's largest ICT research event ICT 2010 in Brussels. This led to FP7-ICT research grant (ID: 600948) and FP7 grant VPH-PRISM (ID:601040).
