- This work won the best poster prize at the RRB-11 2015 international conference and was featured in a two-page spread in the Observer newspaper, written by Jamie Doward 2015. The work initiated a successful international collaboration with Chien Lee, Hanoi University (HUMG) & Petro Vietnam funded through a Newton Research Collaboration Programme, NRCP/1415/176, £19k, and a further EPSRC GCRF Institutional funding award, £40k.
