- This output reflects Petrie’s sustained research effort (his contribution is clearly demarcated as 2/3 of c. pp. 380). As the first monograph to examine film schools in the UK, Europe and the US, it analyses a large body of material and leads to the generation of an extended and complex piece of research that critically engages with these sources, covering many technical issues that extend into the realm of the digital.
