- This paper provides a meta-model and benchmark for product service system (PSS) definitions. A key aspect of the paper is the use of the benchmark to demonstrate advantages over all other published PSS meta-models. Its application to supply networks has led to a RAEng Visiting Professor project with Rolls-Royce’s Head of Independent System Assurance (email on request), an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Award with SME Sensio, and informed the development of an EPSRC Prosperity Outcomes Framework grant using data science (with the School of Computing) to visualise engineering design capability with Lambert Engineering (Tadcaster-based SME) and Rolls-Royce.
