- This work develops a novel damage model to predict the intra- and inter-laminar cracks initiation and propagation, especially proposing a way to physically simulate the cracks and splitting happens during various low velocity impact, comparing than experimental measurements with improved modelling accuracy. It proposed a new method compared to the existing damage criteria law method to computational model the composite damage. This work has been hence cited 100 times (Google Scholar) as good reference and published by “Composite Structure”, which is the top journal in Composite area.
