- The Output, comprising the chapter on 'The Trade and Professional Press' from The Edinburgh History of the British and Irish Press, vol 2 1800-1900, ed. Finkelstein (EUP, 2020) is contextualised by three additional components drawn from King's open-access website BLT19.co.uk. The first two of these elements are presented in this submission as PDFs of two webpages published in April and May 2020 to coincide with the publication of the Edinburgh volume in February. 'The Victorian Trade and Professional Press – the servant’s logic' thinks through how the trade and professional press relates to the discipline of 'English Literature' (https://www.blt19.co.uk/academic/the-victorian-trade-and-professional-press-the-servants-logic/) while 'Trade and Professional Periodicals Database' (https://www.blt19.co.uk/academic/trade-and-professional-periodicals-database/) is a reflection on the research methodology that resulted in the main Output. The third element comprises the database that underlay the main Output. In accordance with REF Guidance on Submission p. 112, the database itself it is not presented here but described in the 'Trade and Professional Periodicals Database' PDF. The Database itself is available at https://www.blt19.co.uk/academic/trade-and-professional-periodicals-database/. A screenshot of the website management site with publication dates is available on request.
