- This 266-page monograph is the product of 10 years of research. It is a comparative study based on a large volume of novel legal development concerning environmental principles in different jurisdictions: the European Union, New South Wales, and the international legal order. It also involved a sustained exploration of the legal cultures of the EU and NSW. The volume of research material increased consistently during the course of the research, as the project concerns an emerging area of law. This is reflected also in the complexity of the research methodology, which charted new ground of legal analysis and conceptualisation.
