- Rethinking the Hollywood Teen Movie (Edinburgh University Press, 2017) is a scholarly monograph that offers a multi-disciplinary analysis of a film genre hitherto under-explored in Film Studies. Offering a detailed examination of case studies from the 1950s to the present day, the book offers an updated, alternative history of the genre. As a result, it is instrumental in developing new thinking round the history of the teen film, and with it, Hollywood cinema.
