- As a long form output of 338pp (c.94,000 words), and sixteen chapters, this monograph offers an in-depth study of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and their Diasporas from different disciplinary perspectives and in relation to different historical contexts from the colonial to the contemporary era. The extended research process involved the collection and analysis of hundreds of sources that ranged from official documents, to reports by international agencies, and NGOs, memoirs, and newspapers. This material was consulted from library collections in the United States, Pakistan, and India, as well as in the UK.
