- Additional information
- This is the first demonstration of using polymer-surfactant aggregate process invented by the authors for harvesting and dewatering of microalgal biomass for bioenergy. The results show the novel process is energy efficient, fast, and the product has much reduced final harvest water content. The new process has attracted attention from industry and potential collaborations are in discussion.
