- Vivarelli worked together with PhD Giuseppe Lerner within a team of four scientists total in looking for resonances of a b-jet and a lepton that would signal the existence of the scalar top. They focused on the definition of the signal regions, on the estimation of the standard model background, with focus on singly- and pair-produced top. They also ran the statistical framework to extract the limits on supersymmetric particle masses.
