- This paper presents advancements in the Cardiff developed Delta-T mapping technique where a clustering algorithm is used to automate aspects of the process. A thorough assessment is conducted to evaluate the performance and the robustness of the new technique. This work directly contributed towards an MBDA Innovation industry award (https://www.mbda-systems.com/innovation/fostering-a-culture-of-innovation/) and source location was a key work package for an awarded Knowledge Transfer Partnership with MISTRAS (£151k, KTP 511591) the leading global manufacturer of AE hardware and software, working with the Technical Director. The work led to a PhD ICase Award with Renishaw (17000120).
