- Double-weighted statement
- This is an important consideration of the continuing prominence of nation states in determining national, rather than trans-national/EU-defined, protection of minority rights in Europe. Based on extensive and sustained research over several years, it offers a detailed, multi-case-study based exploration of differing minority rights regimes in Central and Eastern Europe, contrasting these to regimes in Western Europe. It therefore fills an important, longstanding gap in the literature and is a go-to text for researchers and practitioners in the field of nationalism and minority rights in Europe.
