- This paper presents a search, using Run-1 LHC data, for squarks and gluinos in final states containing taus, high-pT jets and missing transverse momentum. Salvatore, with PhD student Rose, led the overall analysis strategy and the background estimation for the final state with two hadronically decaying tau leptons. In particular, Salvatore and Rose were responsible for the estimation of the multi-jet background. Salvatore was one of the two paper editors.
