- Deport Deprive Extradite draws on research undertaken over an extended period of time – four years overall – funded through a Samuel DuBois Cook Postdoctoral Fellowship at Duke University and an ESRC Future Research Leaders Award. The research is transatlantic in scope drawing on cases of Muslim men extradited from Britain to the US, whilst also being attentive to the wider postcolonial geographies of the War on Terror. It draws on a range of primary sources that were difficult to access including interviews with subjects criminalised under counterterrorism legislation.
